Why Attend Summer Acting Camp?
Along with getting a great and intensive period of time over the summer to study your acting (and all things theater), summer acting programs are a fantastic place to meet other actors and professional performers.
You've probably heard that in the business of acting, it's all about "who you know." It may seem as though this phrase comes from actors who have schmoozed their way into a director's or agent's good graces, but that's rarely if ever the case. You get to know who you know often because you worked and/or studied with them in the past.
One of the best ways to get to know others in the business -- or those who will be in it one day -- is to meet them through acting classes, workshops, seminars, and summer programs. So get out there and network!
