January 27, 2006, Newsletter Issue #1: Mailing Your Headshot

Tip of the Week

Little things can make a big difference. Enclose your headshots in an easy to open envelope – this way the casting director doesn’t have to struggle to open your submitted materials. A simple clasp envelope sealed with a small piece of tape should do the trick.

Attach a small note to your headshot. It will gain you a few extra moments of the casting director’s time without being annoying. Also, write your name on the front of your headshot, and Staple all materials to it.
