What books have most influenced your life?
I usually get a lot of slack for mentioning this book, "Exit to Eden" by Anne Rice. I read this book in one afternoon, and while it has its unique aspects, the way the author tells the story inspires me to write differently and with the mindset that the written word can take you anywhere.

Who are your favorite music artists?
Bjork, Teagan & Sara, Sigur Ros, Prodigy, Benny Benassi, Air...the list goes on and on. As a writer, music works hand-in-hand with the creative process.

What are your favorite websites and why?
Facebook.com - Since I have moved over fifteen times in my life, connecting with past friends and loved ones can be difficult. However, with this site I am able to keep in touch with the people that inspired and touched my life.

What are your professional highlights?
As a writer, it was working on the International sitcom, Completing Kaden, as a staff writer and the lead actor. The one highlight that I am very proud of is being able to financially support myself as a writer and actor for over five years.

What advice do you have for the journey of life?
Remember that even if today is terrible, tomorrow has the possibilities of being the best day of your life. You have the power to control your future, be diligent and never give up on what you want most.

What are you most passionate about in life?
My friends, family and being creative. I love to create, whether that be a character on stage or screen, or through my literary endevours. I haven't lost my imagination as a child, so creating is like play-time when you were a kid, except you get paid for it!

What ticks you off?
Falling up the stairs. Also, pulling a mental blank when in the middle of writing. That's always annoying.

Any thoughts or ideas on living a greener life?
Utilize public transportation. This is an excellent way of getting to where you need to be without spending money on gas, or filling the air with nasty toxins. Also, you're able to meet some really interesting people, which can come in handy when penning your new novel or short story.

What would people be surprised to know about you?
I chain smoke. Most people are surprised when they find out I smoke, nonetheless, how much I smoke.

Don’t forget that tomorrow will be here before you know it. This is my personal philosophy that I strongly believe in. In retrospect our lives are extremely short, so what I do with my time while I’m here is extremely vital. Remember, that you can’t take back time and what you do today will reflect who you are and what you’re doing tomorrow.
